Watersign Records was founded in 2002 by its visionary president and CEO, Morris Pleasure. Pleasure, a celebrated multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, built
the company from the ground up, assembling an all-star lineup of music industry operatives and artists. He built the company on two simple principles: excellent music production and fairness to artists. As a result of these principles, the Watersign roster
has grown into an astonishingly accomplished list.

The label’s first musical offerings, set for release in Spring 2008 include Pleasure’s own
all star-laden Mo ’Elements of Pleasure, and new releases from the legendary Roberta
Flack, saxophonist Freddy V (of Average White Band) and soulful vocalist Klyde Jones (also of Average White Band). Other members of the WS family include acoustic
soul-rock singer-songwriter Eladio, former Prince keyboardist Gayle Chapman, avant garde rock band Love Campaign, vocalist, Jazz Rosco, brainchild of Tower of Power organist Roger Smith , and Macedonian pop sensation Elena. As evidenced by this genre-defying roster, Watersign seeks to push creative envelopes without limiting the artist’s vision. Translation: anything goes… as long as it sounds good.

Watersign also works with outside artists seeking Pleasure’s innovative production style.
His outside eclectic collection of production credits include soul vocalist Cheri Maree’s forthcoming sophomore album and Japanese jazz diva Ami Hirai.
